Getting started is straightforward:

1. Enter your name and email address. If you prefer not to disclose this information, you may input any placeholder data. This application functions entirely offline, ensuring your personal information remains on your device.
2. Add contacts by selecting from your existing contact list or entering details manually. Note that MiniCash does not send email notifications to your contacts.
3. Input expenses quickly by:
Entering a description directly or choosing from previous entries Specifying the amount Selecting payee(s) and payer(s); swipe right to view ATM logos Confirming each entry before finalizing

Optional features include:

• Separately tracking different groups of expenses using multiple databases
• Sending or canceling friendly notifications to contacts
• Manual management of ATM/payer transaction notifications, as these are not automatically included in email alerts

Additional capabilities encompass:

• Creating dedicated databases for specific events, such as vacations, to organize expenses more effectively
• Using the email function in the individual transaction view to send notifications; recipients can click a link (vcash://) to import transaction details into their own MiniCash database, facilitating seamless sharing and reconciliation
• Tracking borrowed items without associated costs by entering a zero amount; the accompanying counter indicates the number of days until repayment is due

The application employs color-coded cells: +/Gold for credits and -/Black for debits, enhancing visual clarity.

Beyond simple shared expense management, MiniCash provides tools for sending friendly reminder notices for overdue borrowed items, helping to streamline personal financial interactions and reduce awkwardness.
